Honest Greens was founded with the visionary mission of establishing a decentralized food production system to revolutionize the global agricultural landscape. Our innovative growing systems are designed for adaptability, thriving even in the most challenging climates while minimizing land and resource utilization. Founded in 2015 on the picturesque island of Sri Lanka, Honest Greens draws from the island’s rich agricultural history. Despite the challenges of a fluctuating equatorial climate, Sri Lanka became the ideal testing ground for our technologies.
Within two years, we built our pioneering vertical farm, producing over 10 tons of lettuce monthly in a compact space. Honest Greens quickly earned recognition, supplying supermarkets, cafes, and high-end resorts with reliable, high-quality crops.
Our experience as growers inspired us to design a versatile farming unit—the ‘Container’—tailored for entrepreneurs and businesses, reflecting our mission to innovate and expand sustainable farming.
